This volume presents the papers of two conferences organized by the CISA research group (Christianismes, Islams et Societés Arabes). The sessions entitled „Frontières et Emigration” (2018–2019) and „Dieu, l’Homme et la Violence” (2017–2018) approach the question of migration, borders and terrorism from a wide range of perspectives, including the discussion of modern viewpoints and the analyses of Medieval sources of Muslim culture.
