András Mércz, an employee of Avicenna KKKI, conducted research in two German archives during the summer. In the Berlin State Library he studied Moses of Mardin’s autograph Syriac letters, and in the Bavarian State Library he scanned through the legacies of several Orientalists who were associated with Moses of Mardin.
