Arabic linguistics, medieval Arabic Bible translations, Christian Arabic hagiographies, early modern Maronite theological works.
I wrote my Master’s thesis on the linguistic phenomenon of “Middle Arabic,” which marked the beginning of my interest in medieval Christian Arabic literature. During my doctoral studies, I conducted research on medieval Arabic translations of the Bible and Christian Arabic hagiographical literature. My doctoral dissertation focuses on an early modern Maronite theological work composed in the form of “questions and answers,” which enjoyed considerable popularity within the Christian tradition.
