RESEARCH INTERESTS

Field of interest: Persian literature, classical Persian poetry, Islamic mysticism, codicology.

My main field of interest is the aspects of the transmission of classical Persian literature. In my Master’s thesis, I analysed a manuscript of the Manṭiq al-Ṭayr of ʿAṭṭār located in the ELTE University Library from a codicological point of view.

In my doctoral dissertation, I study the Timurid period afterlife of medieval mystical Khorasanian authors. The manuscript examined in my Master’s thesis works as a starting point for this research, based on which I examine the regional continuation of the works of pre-Mongol mystics and mystical authors and their specific features. My research focuses on other related issues, such as social, cultural, institutional and genealogical problems, in addition to questions of the textual tradition.
