István Lánczky has successfully passed his comprehensive examination and workshop debate that took place on March 8, 2019 at Avicenna Institute of Middle Eastern Studies. As a student from the Doctoral School of Linguistics of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at PPCU, our researcher is preparing to defend his doctoral dissertation entitled Individualization of Material Substances in Avicenna’s Philosophy. The members of the committee were Miklós Maróth, Zoltán Szombathy (Head of the Department of Semitic and Arabic Philology, ELTE), László Tüske (Director-General of the National Széchényi Library (NSZL)) and András Cser (Department of Theoretical Linguistics, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, PPCU).
