Academia Europaea and ALLEA (All European Academies) held their annual conference in Budapest, hosted by the Hungarian Academy of Sciences.
From climate change to migration to preserving European cultural heritage, the conference focused on some of the most pressing contemporary scientific issues. The section Europe: Culture, Heritage, Integrity, Resilience and Future was led by Professor Sir David Edward from the School of Law at the University of Edinburgh and Miklós Maróth from Avicenna Institute of Middle Eastern Studies and the Hungarian Academy of Sciences.
The conference was held from September 3-6, 2017, the aforementioned section took place in the afternoon of September 5 in the Academy Hall.
